For a MENA based digital content services provider, Venture was engaged to provide support in the development of its business case and board paper for an OTT product

Specifically, our objectives for the project were to:

  • Challenge, validate and improve current OTT strategy

  • Review demand and benchmark against overseas players and offers (incl. UI and tech stack)

  • Develop and refine the board paper for the OTT product, incl. rationale and narrative




Venture conducted a series of workshops with the management team to develop a structured approach to assess the market demand for such a service in MENA.

  • In preparation for the workshops, Venture:

    • Conducted a market assessment of 15 MENA regions and

    • Analysed the opportunity and attractiveness of each region for the client

  • We determined which countries in the MENA region offer foundation technology (FBB) for OTT in the short term and made recommendations about entry viability

  • We showed the impact of MBB technology on the opportunity set for OTT services

  • We worked with the client management team to develop their board pack
